This morning we begin an eight day tour of New Zealand’s South Island on the Magic Traveller’s Network Coach, otherwise known as the Magic Bus.
Out of bed at 5.30 am this morning to catch the InterIslander Ferry from Wellington across the Cook Strait to the South Island. The terminal was quiet at first but soon filled with backpackers who outnumbered the other tourists by about fifty to one.
